One of the biggest challenges faced by managers and leaders in navigating a diverse work environment is cross-cultural management and communication. Our GORM intercultural competence training can support you with cross-cultural challenges you may be facing as a result. 

In order to effectively engage across lines of difference, Intercultural Competence is needed through the development of appropriate  Knowledge, Attitudes, and Skills required to thrive in diverse environments.

Practical skills that equip you with tools to respond to cross-cultural conflict, miscommunication and hybrid identities in a fairer way, which promotes inclusive practice and enhances societal cohesion.

TRAINING PACKAGES

INTRO WORKSHOP

  • Introduction to intercultural competence in the workplace.

  • Delivery on-site or online (Training is 90 mins).

  • Maximum attendance in workshop is 25 attendees

  • Embedded with psychological research and evidence based best practices in establishing intercultural competence in your organisation.

  • Engaging and interactive session with activities and discussions within the training.

TAILORED TRAINING

  • In-depth consultancy and needs assessment to understand organisational needs.

  • Delivery on-site or online (Training is 3-6 hours depending on needs identified).

  • Maximum attendance in workshop is 25 attendees

  • Embedded with psychological research and evidence based interventions to guide best practice in establishing intercultural competence and cultural intelligence in the workplace.

  • Engaging and interactive session with activities and deep discussions and practical tool within the training.

  • Evaluation Report inclusive of training debrief & recommendations for the organisation/team for future learning and practice.

MEET OUR TRAINERS

Dr. Anca Minescu, PhD

Dr. Anca Minescu is a Social Psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of Limerick. She has more than 20 years experience in working in the area of cultural diversity, ethnic relations, migration and social inclusion, in various settings across Europe and beyond. Her expertise is in fighting discrimination and prejudice, and Intercultural Competence Training in organisational settings.

Anca is proficient in English and Romanian

Beatriz Gómez Moreno, M.Sc

Beatriz Gómez Moreno is a Social Psychologist, holding a Masters in Psychology of Global Mobility, Diversity and Inclusion. She has over 10 years of experience working in inter-group relations and migration. She specialises in human rights campaigning and psycho-social support for marginalised communities.

Beatriz is proficient in English and Spanish

Mamobo Ogoro, MA

Mamobo Ogoro is a Social Psychologist and Founder of GORM. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Limerick. Her research looks at how systems of inclusion and exclusion affect migrant identity construction. She has more than 8 years experience in working with migrant integration, social inclusion, prejudice and delivering Intercultural Competence Trainings.
