We are so glad to announce that we have secured seed funding of €2000 from Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, Ideas Academy Seed Fund.
We were awarded this funding by way of pitching for the continuation of our operations. This will give us the means to highlight the voices of more communities in Ireland and further our impact of creating common ground through digital media.
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland is a privately funded not-for-profit organisation
that supports people with innovative ideas to tackle Ireland’s social
problems. Its mission is to find these people and support them on every step of their
journey. The Ideas Academy is a three-month programme that provides
participants with the support and direction they need as they take the
first steps from idea to action. Participants on the programme are
supported to clearly articulate, refine and progress their solution through
workshops and peer learning.
At Gorm, we believe that the media is a tool in which tell stories, gain understanding and ultimately create common ground, and with this support, we will be able to make the steps to realise our vision of unity & shared understanding.
