The Wideshot Launch Event

We're looking forward to celebrating the launch of our new programme 'The Wideshot' with you! During this event you can expect discussions and activities that raise awareness about the opportunities and education for young people of ethnically diverse backgrounds to enter and engage with the creative media industry. We have invited four accomplished speakers from the creative media industry to give us an insight into their experiences and opinions about the need for cultural/ ethnic diversity in their field. And of course there will be food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and not to forget: an after-party! So get excited for a fun and insightful evening!

What is 'The Wideshot' programme? 'The Wideshot' programme consists of a series of workshops, training and education for young people (18-25) from underrepresented communities, supporting them in engaging with the creative media industry. It aims to connect young people and recent graduates with established Film/TV practitioners, in order to develop their creative-media and multimedia skills and provide an entry into the creative media industry.
